Bolt size/thread type???

    I have a Stovebolt 235 with the factory intake manifold. Anybody know the type of thread and bolt size for the bolt hole on the side of the manifold, just below the carb.

    I think that's where a vacuum tube comes out for the wipers.

    If so it's probably pipe thread maybe 1/8 NPT. Or maybe like the other guy said on your other post 1/4 NPT

    If your little finger won't fit it is 1/8" pipe 1?4 pipe your finger starts in.

    I agree. The looks like a vacuum port. Most likely Pipe tread. It gonna be either 1/8-27 or 1/8-28. those are the 2 most common. 1/4 I think is too big. 1/4 pipe is what your Air tool nipples use

    It ended up being 1/8 NPT. I have a TH350 mated to the back of my 235. Will this work for the transmission kickdown vacuum??

    I might have my cock out a mile here but I think the only vaccum line on a th350 goes to the modulator valve on the right rear of the trans. The kick down is controlled by either a cable or lever from the carb to the trans.
