Not really for sale, he did sell his 69 SS 396 though, said he got an offer he couldn't refuse. I'm not a muscle car guy, at least not enough of one to pay what it would take to buy a car that's not really for sale.... My 55 hardtop is not for sale, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be bought...if the money were right. That means way more than it's actually worth, so I can buy a much nicer 55 chevy hardtop...
Was on craigs list today and found this. http://mendocino.craigslist.org/cto/2790121583.html He is calling it a Scottsman but it sure looks like a fleet option to me. Price is low and the truck looks not to have been abused before parked. Wish I had some extra cash right now to pick it up. I love the single head lights and grill on these.
Yeah, still listed. Personally I think its overpriced but this seller calls it rare and that is how he based his price.
Anything new to your truck Abomb, it's been a while? I saw this one for sale in Reno and thought about your post. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/3358005692.html
Judging by the building in the background, that photo was taken in Lampasas, Texas. I wonder if that is the same truck that belonged to pcbeachrat. If so, $6500 is a lot less than a restored 1942 Lincoln "plus 20K on the side!"
Add mine to the list. Very much alive and well, here in southeast Ohio. The first time I saw it, I thought the grille was home-made. But then I Googled it, and discovered the Fleet-Option. I’ve done a lot of work to it, but tried to keep all the original unique features. It originally did not come with rear shocks or bed steps, but I have added them.
