  2. hot rodding is a universal language, and in a world that's so big, it's kinda humbling to think that it's also so small and personal, something that Fuel TV clip resonates to me.

Friendship and passion for old iron, this is what it's pretty much about.

  6. Thanks for posting Ryan and I couldn't agree more with those above comments.

Fuel tank TV is doing a great job of preserving and recording our time, hot rodding is still great as are the people in this community.

And I'm happy to call Martin "48" a true friend and club brother... It's a great story.

So many great cars down there. Some of the most passionate, most genuine people I've ever met, and Martin is no exception.

That was a nice way to start the morning. I loved the parts gathering mission. Great inspiration for getting my crusty pile of parts from the Northwest and Hawaii together and on the road. Aloha, from a Spokanite.

Hot rodding is like math,it's universal and transcends language and borders.

  16. Weren't there a car at the first HAMB drags that had the "Vultures" painted on the side of it?

For someone like me, who is not as talented about building a car, it's about the friendships you acquire in this life. I also like to personalize my ride with accessories or parts that just fit the personality of the car. I would love a Vultures T-shirt.. Pretty cool art.. I bet that little coupe would scoot with that big Caddy V8...

That "Vultures" was our old car club out of the Bay Area from 2000 - 2009. One of our guys had the T drag car at the first HAMB Drags.
There's also the original 50s Vultures out of East LA that Joe Nitti was in, and a Antwerp, Belgium Vultures I used to see walking around at Paso...

Lots of predatory birds out there!

  24. That T coupe was perfect and I liked the crews matching white cover-alls!

I'm glad to see Bob Bleed's Hot rod Passion quote in the video... Bob has astute vision for the old iron and a way to put it into words.

cool vid , makes you think how easy it is for us here to find most of the parts we need ,the friendship is what it's about, makes me think it time to get out and socialize today instead of living in the shop...thanks...

  27. That was great!I first met Martin and Sarah back when they were gathering parts for the coupe. He is one of those special people who has a positive outlook on life and makes the world a better place without trying.

  28. Incredible video. I sure like Martins laid back attitude to this lifestyle we are all passionate about. The Vultures sure are a good bunch of people.

    Well what a surprise !
Never thought that when Tom and Luke did this story on me it would end up here on the HAMB - Thank you !!
What I am overwhelmed by is all the kind words from you guys. Really it`s only my take on our sport, just my side of it.
Thank You Ryan and Thank You All.

    Speed Safely Brothers, Martin.
