History Oh baby. I love my Levi's!

Saw this the other day, the thing that grabbed my attention was the colour footage of the dry lakes which is from 1948.

 

To bad Levi has gone the way of many products-downhill. Cheaper less thread count denim. Nice commercial

what the hell, levi's trying to latch-on to vintage american things? not anymore. they should show footage of their product being made. oh well, you can buy "afordable" levi's made overseas, and you can buy "vintage" ford bodys made overseas too. it's a strange new world. great real vintage footage though.

 

Not to get too off topic, my Carhartts run me $42 a pair tailored, and cut to whatever I want. Double kneed, riveted, and mine are a plus size. American made, you just have to shop at a tier 1 dealer. That's a fair deal in my book.

Too bad levis don't last as long as they used to. And they were cheap, until the yuppies found out about them. Still my favs though.
