hillman superminx 1962 new ride!!!!

refitted wipers and door mirror tonight,

5 items left on the list.

refit door handles on n/side,
set caster angle,
maybe a carb rebuild but think its ignition related(99% sure)
bonnet scoop(can do without at a push)
mot.(uk roadworthy test)

 

small headlight update,
gone all modern fitted a halogen conversion.
all fitted tonight and working, just got to get alignment checked.

also fitted airfilter for good.

 

i've been busy with these tools this afternoon!!!
some people will like it, others will not!!!!!

 

running a bit rough as points keep closing up on three cylinders, missed the postman this morning with replacement dizzy.

Never thought I'd see one of these on the Hamb.
My buddy not long brought a 63, and I've been helping him tear it down.

Any chance you have pics of what the new owner did with it?
After three years, it's probably changed somewhat.

 

as it happens, i've recently become friends with the current owner after he got in touch on f/b.
heres the only pic i have, its had a baremetal respray, engine and driveshaft rebuild.
