Well I got this cowl for reaaaly cheap Saturday at Canfield so I guess I HAVE to build a roadster now! So lets see how long it takes to build a roadster body from swap meet only parts !! I have a feeling I am going to be using some very rough parts to keep it under budget but hey its something different and fun for me to do ! Dont expect this one to go together quick . I am going to try my hardest to stay away from ordering any parts from a store/buisness !!

I also got a cowl side from a tudor with nice subrail extensions on the passenger side and some roadster stanchions!

I wanna try and keep the total build for the body under 1500 dollars in parts not including my time . I am going to try and use as much Henry as I can!

I will keep a running tally here .:eek:

    cowl 60
    tudor cowl side 10
    stanchions 20
    door/hinges 60
    firewall 0

I knew it was just a matter of time before you started on a roadster for yourself. I am already on the search for parts for you.

A car always takes up more space in pieces than it does in complete form! But somethings you just have to deal with!!

  6. The doors, quarters and deck lid are the hard parts, is the problem.

    I have a 28-29 for $75 i just need 1 door and a decklid inner

    Door $25
    Quarters free
    tulip pan free
    d-lid skin free
    structure free
    cowl $50
It's all rough, hence the free or almost free prices, but nothing all the patch pannels know to man wont fix
