I'm from southwest Iowa and have just been sponging information from this site for quite a while. I figured it was about time I joined. Here is a picture of my brother and I taken around 1973 with my Dad's 1937 Chevy. We have aged another 40 years since then but the 37 is still in the family and looks almost exactly the same. I have a couple of projects and pending projects that I will probably need some help with and I thank you in advance.
Nice car. Which one of those rugrats is you? Spent a lot of time camping and fishing in Iowa when we lived in Illinois. Good luck with your project.
'37 Chevrolets are some of the best GM put out that year. Will you attending the Rust Revival in Wayland MO.http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=780200&highlight=breeder
I have always loved the 37 Chevys but, I may be slightly biased since I grew up with one. Not sure where I will end up that weekend but, the Rust Revival looks very cool.
Welcome from WI. That is one cool car and fantastic that it's still in the family. I would love to see it at my show in September - Mississippi Mayhem. It's about a 5 1/2 hour drive northeast for you, but worth every minute. Rust Revival down in Wayland is a great time, too. Cheers! Fanny Freckles
