    Those are cool. Been thinking about a set for my 50. Is that some kind of design no-no for later cars?

    these are on a 40 chevy I just bought. why are they called artillery wheels?

    They got that name during World War 1 , as the armies used them on Cannons and Supply Trucks

    mine-the centres are off an old aftermarket wheel that a tyre company(unsure which) used to make.they have been mated to modern tubeless rims and had a smoothed centre section added in as well.i just need to stop getting side tracked building drag race bikes and build my 34 pickup to put them on!
