There were a couple of Ford guys around here in the 70s who got their hands on a Boss 429 and stuck it in an Anglia drag car but they couldn't keep the drive train together so they put it in a tractor and got into pulling.
Well,the NHRA can go pound sand. The NTF guys and FC guys for whatever reason don't want to let Ford's run in NTF or NFC. The dragsters are dying off, I don't know why they woudn't let a BBF run. Fuel Altereds Forever!!!!!!
Carrol Carter makes the Boss motor, he also make 800"+ versions that are popular in promod and truck pulling. I remember a TAD with one of his Boss motors, blown alcohol, back when injected nitro was taking that class over. Anyway, he can fix you right up. C&C Automotive, Manassa VA.
