Did you take more pictures?I'd like to see .I'm interested in what you plan on doing .I just hope to get mine running this spring and I'll be happy..

 

I did Eddie.. still searching on lowering it...im gonna do the 3 inch rear blocks and trim a loop or two on the front coils to see how it looks and rides.

Before you weld in the 3" blocks...make sure you can get the tires berween the drum & fender. Real tight squeeze on my '48 Plym @ normal ride height.

Just lowered my Windsor this weekend cut 2 coils in front and 3 inch lowering blocks...I like the stance!

No thank you I check this thread every few days. I'm just waiting for snow to melt to get my Windsor running.

I agree that it's definitely not
"hot rod" or full-tilt "custom car"
material ...but it's still very HAMB
relevant and HAMB friendly. With
a conservative, solid, single-dark-color
paint-job, some wide-whites on
either steelies, or better yet even,
- on factory-style chrome wires -
and little bit of lowering, it would
make for a really sweet and very,
very classy cruiser. Later, as you
find them, throw on a few 'period
correct' vintage accessories - like
maybe a sun visor and/or some
rear fender skirts or ???? and it
could make for a really cool,
unique and desirable car.

I know these arent popular for Rat/Hot Rods. But they have great potential for what I call "Gangster Cruiser". Nice paint, tinted windows, redo the interior, upgrade to 12V, MT/AT conversion...and even lower it if you want, and these babies will make you feel like an old Mob Boss. (At least to me it does)

On nice afternoons here in TN I sometimes just sit in the Windsor with a glass of wine and a cigar. Just to watch the sunset...

I truly love this car.

 

I lowered mine last weekend using the Aerostar springs. The stance is nice but rides on bump stops and harsh....so this weekend I will cut about 2 coils out of the original springs...amazing how easy the front suspension is to pull apart. They are great cars...unusual at any show....

I have a 1952 Chrysler Windsor deluxe and im redoing it and I would like to know what the fatman spindle kit is and maybe with pictures of them and of the car with them if it wouldn't be too much of a hassle
