Unknown Magnifying Headlight or I Can See You

    Need help here.... do not know what this light is. Looks like it should be on top of an expensive headlight. Magnifing front lense, smaller side lense. Any help? Need one or trade this one.......

    Made of brass, about 5 inches long. The no markings is what interests me. Thanks for any help.........

    Looks more nautical than automotive. What context did you find it in? Junk yard or junk store?

    E gay. The side not magnified lense is more then interesting. Gotta be automotive because of the one sided of it.

    Or an acetylene lamp, like early miners lamps that you fueled with calcium carbide and water.


    Edit:
    I'm bettin' the threaded lower portion is where the fuel container screwed on.

  26. I am going out on this one but navy ships have somthing like this on both sides of the jiro compus that checks the true cource of the ship.

    Yours looks like a European car cowl lamp.
