    1954 GMC

The fun has just begun. Was supposed to be the missus's first vehicle. Her Dad bought it when she was 13, gave it a quick paint job on the cab, the bed never made it to the paintbooth.

Moved from his shop, to the next 3, ended up in a field that burned (all around the truck) and yarded across Washington State where we used it for a farm truck hauling hay.

What started back in 1975 is now on it's way to completion.

Love surfing the pics in this thread! Got my 54 GMC running again last weekend, think I'll slap a set of WW on it, cut some coils, and remove a leaf, been far too long since I've been able to drive it.

  19. ...the six is a 228 cu. in.; think I've got it sold, if not I'll keep you in mind if interested....it turns over and would probly run.

Maybe a shot of the interior, the motor, and another outside shot from a different angle will be cool. I have a 51 AD and God willing sometime this coming June, I will painting the cab and the bed and dropping the 216 back in. I will be happy if I can get my truck to look half as good as yours.

Those guards are popular with the Bomb Crowd. They refer to them as "Cattle Guard"
