  4. We're gonna take the '40 stake truck. Will probably take 96 across from Halltown to Carthage. Haven't decided if we will take the northern or I44 through Joplin, but then will jump on 166 and south to Dewey. I'll be waiting on Dad to get to my house from StL, so I am guessing we'll head out around noonish.

Now, to remember where I left the Rain-X.

No roof no wipers no heater no seat time = trailer. Don't hate because I came on a trailer, at least not too much.

I think most cars that come to Dewey don't have wipers. Wipers suck!
See ya guys this weekend... Happy trails, Mick

  9. Note to self: Pull wipers before reaching Dewey.

    WFT??
Got here around 8pm. Came straight to the hotel, Best Western where I thought all the action would be. They said they have no reservation for me (I have an email from hotels.com with a confirmation number and all the info; they don't care) and charged me a HIGHER rate than I'd booked for???

I think I have perhaps discovered the "issues" you mentioned, Mick?

    See you Saturday!

All kinds of issues with us as well. I won't get into it because I am in a room here now.

I thought hotels were in the service business and they lack in that department. Man I am
proud of myself that was politically correct statement .... Sorry guys for the issues, ill do
what I can to correct them.

We've had 250 cars show p today and a log of them drove through snow and ice to get
here. We are very blessed to have such a kool family. They just changed the forecast
tomorrow to only 40% chance of rain tomorrow morning and some drizzle. Should end
up being a good day for the show.

great turnout considering the weather lotta cool cars will come back again

  27. Had a great time talking with DrDave and his dad, finally meeting Travis and Jimmy, and wound up bailing out around 1:30 or so. Got home around 6pm, due to a stop for an ice cream cone and an intentional detour for a photo op. Also had fun talking with Dan Greenberg.

Great event, great folks. Awesome time spent road tripping in an old car with dad.

what is this wiper word you young guys keep talking about, must be some kinda new toilet or something, I prefer to do that myself. That is a funny word in the kustom world, unsure of it's purpose....
