Detroit Area Peeps........what are your plans for Sunday?

As most of us around here know this upcoming Sunday is the start of the outdoor car events for this area. Both these events are always on the first Sunday of May, rain or shine, on separate sides of town. I've been to both. Not sure which I'm going to this year.

So who's going to which one and why?

There is also the VMCCA Swap meet in Fowlerville on Saturday & sunday.

I'll probably be heading for Depot Town as well if I can get everything done that I have to do this week.I donated a couple of items for their auction too(a vintage lettered tool box and a striped red flake helmet).The Safari's brakes seem to be operating OK(after a wheel cylinder rebuild) and the control arm bolts are still tight(although I still haven't put LocTite on them yet)but I'm a little bit wary of driving it too far just yet.It will be going east to Massachusetts in August so everything has to be done by then.

Bearing burners swap meet was extremely good. Biggest I have seen. I scored a few trinkets and am still kicking my self for not buying the wires for my 61. I felt 8" might have been too wide so I passed and they were mint and could have been mine for 250......arrghhhh why couldn't they have been 6's!

 

Did anyone get pics of 3 or 4 T buckets parked together?
