I have a steering joint here that has a different fitting on one end, kind of like a double D but the flats are angled, sort of a pie shaped double D. Anyone know what this is called? I can take a photo if needed.

Sound like a pyramid for a factory Ford rack. That's what we call them at Flaming River.

I think Borgeson refers to those as 3/4V. Micky69 is right - ford factory.
