Dog427435 posted this photo on the "Cool Pictures!" post... and I got intrigued.

So I did some searching and found the source of the photo.

The photo was taken by a photographer named Tim Heffernan.
And apperently the photo was taken in Philmont NY.

The photo has been awarded, and get 195 comments on his Flickr site. But none of them comments about the fact that this is a very nicely done sectioned and possibly channeled 1936 Ford Roadster or Phaeton.
I think the photo might have been Photoshopped to create the color effects. But I do not think the sectioning was done in photoshop.

Perhaps the car is sitting in the barn where it was Photographed by Tim...

I dont have a Flickr account... but perhaps somebody who has one could contact Tim Heffernan, and ask where he took the photo's.. and see if the car is still at that barn, and could possibly be saved.... Would be nice

Here is a link to his Flickr account.

My first reactiion is that it is a faux finished AMT '36 Ford model.

Looks like a 30's Dodge hump back panel behind it.

  6. In a old Hot Rod mag there was a ad for a '36 identical to that in NJ or NY.

  7. Not the same but from the same region.

Looks like the new owner is equipped. Cool looking old building with partial cars and machinery outside, the inside must be full of better cars and machinery. If anyone knows the new owner, we should send an invite, I'd love to see more info or build thread on this car.

The owner had the car at Fall Hershey with a sign asking about its history. 100_1742.jpg

  27. Some body needs to kidnap that dude and force an initiation of HAMB'dom on him. No tea bagging !! Looks like it's a driver at least.

Cool car to have....old custom or not...I would have to get the boards and lights re-configured for me to really dig it. I dunno'....to me it's missing something....besides paint.
