Hey tool lovers-I found this in a junker. Any of you know what it is or used for?

In a freaking horror movie :)

  17. Possibly for twisting twine. The front looks like it has a scissor action as well, which would cut the twine.

    Farm use, if so.

Not sure how you got one of those over there. Its actually used to tell the age of male kangaroos. You sneak up to the largest roo in the mob, that's what a group of kangaroos is called and gently touch the blade section (warmed of course) on to one side of his scrotum, squeezing the tool together the animal will "flinch" slightly when the point touches and the pressure is right. Ours have measuring markers on the opposite end of the tool, so you see what that reads and that tells you how old the Roo is by the size of his testicle.

I am an aircraft mechanic. I have several hand me down safety wire pliers, that date back to the 50s. It ain't that. They are much more compact. I was thinking rebar tiers because, the tie wires come with a loop on each end. I don' know about the cutter tho.

That looks like a universal adapter adjustment tool. Saw one in a JC Whitney catalog.
