Projects corvair seats

    got a chance to pick up a set of corvair buckets . Owner says they are the same as 61-64 impala seats? How about differences -or are they the same? How about pics of both types of seats to show the differences.

    Check out this link. http://www.trifive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61303 I think they are the same as 63-65 Riviera. But all the early 60's GM seats look so similar. Call Clarks Corvair and confirm. By the way Clarks Corvair is the best place to get Riviera restoration upholstery. Go figure.

  5. Corvair/Chevy bucketseats, arm rests and window/door cranks, very popular interior modification back in the sixties...

    I believe the corvair seats are slightlt smaller and don't have the large chrome band going over the backrest like the full size g.m. buckets.
