I've done a lot of old British stuff but am now branching out into old 40s and 50s American and want to do it with a truck. I have found a few 1.5 and 2 Ton Chevys that I would love to make mine. They are dump bodies and I would love to get rid of the dump section, shorten the chassis and wheelbase a little and run an air suspension.

I was told the cab over guys have lots of information on the big trucks so any help?
