Wow...another 49 Poncho SD...Two of 255 built...all within a few hundred miles of each other. Mine is obviously alot rougher, and with the 52 Chevy front sheet metal, she doesn't look legit, but she is. Mines got a 4 inch chop done by Hoitink ( Hamber) a few years back...also have a 49 Chevy panel...one of them has too go...leaning towards getting rid of the panel.

Hey Guys....fancy seeing you guys here....take it easy.

  3. Hello essexrat, good to see you too. Hmm that trailer that the panel is on looks familar, lol.
I had a guy offer me a 1951ish Chev sedan delivery, gotta wait until spring to view it, no pics yet, but maybe there is a rear door for your delivery. If the deal works out, I'm willing to do some trading... that 52 chev grill looks good to me:D. I will keep you posted nonetheless .
    Cheers

It may of been a flower car. A fellow here had a red one just like it but unfortunately,I don't have the pictures of it handy. However, I did find this picture of a '46 Window Delivery. Also, see post 531 on this thread.

IMG_2639.jpg Purchased this from Los Angeles and when they say West Coast cars are rust-free.....they sometimes MEAN it! In the midwest, you just can't find them this clean! Uploaded pics on a lark, no rhyme or reason; obviously, started life in the primer stage with the Rat Rod bumpers....

Great car! I really like your sense of style. I am building a 52 ranch light green with a 406 inch FE and C-6. I would like to know about your wheels, they certainly fit vs. mags in my opinion.

    Thank you for sharing!

    Cheers, Don
