Need a radiator desperately for my car to make Torquefest. Looking at the Ebay aluminum ones. All seem to be made with outlets intended for small block swaps. Anyone running one with a stock inline? Know where to get one? Cant afford one of the $800 ones either. Thanks.

I picked up a Champion Radiator for my 235. Works great, fitment was good(needed a couple of holes redrilled). Doesn't look OEM at all but then again I think I paid about $180 for it, which for me was better than the $400 I was quoted to recore my original

What did you do about the outlets? Stock top hose is 1.25" and champions outlets are 1.5" and the outlet on bottom is 1.75" and stock is 1.5" ?

They have one specifically for 6cyl. engines. Other than some wd-40 on the hoses I dont think either of those were a problem and I used the original style hoses. Give me a minute and ill go out and snap a pic for you if you want.

Id like to see it. Do you have a part number of what your using? I talked to a guy who is a champion dealer out in Oregon and he said they don't make it....too lazy to look it up I guess.

This is the radiator, I picked mine up locally but you might be able to find a vendor near you. I've had it for a year now and so far no complaints. But I know it wont last 60 years like the original but good enough for the time being and easy on the wallet. Hope this helps.

Found one on Ebay. $180 with free shipping. Think I am just going to grab it. Just hope it gets here in time. Thanks

  13. ....just run a sleeve(short section of hose) inside the bigger radiator hoses to get rite hookups.

  14. use the universal hoses. they have some with diff size ends, they should be the same as if you were doin the opposite and swapping a V8 and leaving stock radiator

Well.....looks like I am screwed. Ordered a radiator on Ebay last night, tonight they tell me Champion does not have any in stock. I need one by next Thursday at the latest. Looking for an EC4954, any help appreciated.
