Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by A32Flathead, Apr 20, 2013.

  1. Every year, the same weekend as The Deadend Cruise & The Gambino Sit down here in San Jose, the Strangers Car Club put on just about the best damm family car show in Nor Cal.....

Just a few weeks ago, we heard the new's that the wife of our very own HAMB'er (and leading force in the Stranger car Club) cadillac nut was diagnosed with cancer and needs treatment.

Funds are tight for everyone, and cancer therapy ain't cheap...so, the club is putting together a FUNDRAISER car show on Saturday May 11th here in San Jose.

    So......here's the info below....

PLEASE ARTISTS/STRIPERS/PHOTOGRAPHERS/SCULPTORS/MUSICIANS/WELDERS/FILM MAKERS/MAGAZINE FOLK....EVERYONE....If you can donate something to this very worthy cause....please consider it.....and contact me direct via PM.....

Please act fast, show time is fast approaching....

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Colleen is pretty overwhelmed right now with the amount of love, care, and good vibes being sent her way. You all rock!

Any items donated for the raffle will help and if you need someone to pick them up we can find someone to go get the items. This is going to be a good fundraiser car show so let's all do what we can . I know times are hard for a lot of us but when a friend is in need you know what to do
    Thank You
    Ronnie

Do you guys do a silent auction style set up or are the items that will be sent in more of the standard raffle ticket style drawing.

I have a couple ideas of something I can send and debating on if money would just be better.

Great of you guys to do this.

Checked the calendar and all family duties are cleared. I'll be there.

The Chevelle is all back together and running. Headed to Sean's place (Sunnyoaks Mufflers and More) tomorrow morning.

The show is @ my shop & street. 9th street is a dead end street so we have the whole block except some parking reserved for the business opened that day. The vendors can setup indoors the night before, which will make things easier on day of show. Also, any raffle prizes, donations can also be sent to my shop @ 926 N. 9th St., San Jose, CA 95112. The outpouring of support for Colleen has been heartwarming to all of us that know & love her. Thank you all very much. If you have any questions, you can reach me @ (408)595-8203. Don
