Just saw this! This sucks in so many ways.. I couldn't imagine how hurt you felt knowing these were your dad's. I have no idea how I would handle that.

I hope the thieves are found and dealt with swiftly! Another bump for you..

You will be suprised how dumb thieves are, they will probably post the stuff on CL locally. Good Guys and Stockton Swap are easy outlets. Ill keep my eyes peeled.

I like other posters think meth heads. They saw all of what they thought was aluminum and cast iron.More than likely sold the next day.. The scrap yards say they do not buy stolen things BUT the sure break up things and mix old with new very fast. I had some wheels and a intake stolen while eating lunch. A scrap yard is only 3 min from the eating place. I went directly their caught them selling my wheels and aluminum intake.. The police then said PROVE that the belong to you. I did.. I had my drivers lic number on the intake..I was lucky but the meth heads pleaded and were out in 5 weeks. Good luck but check the scrap yards.............. Bobby.........

    Thursday morning bump.

My boss asked me yesterday how I was going to prove they belonged to us. I have lots of pictures, but nothing else. I hope that's good enough.

Swap meets in Cali this weekend - please keep an eye out for these wheels.

    Thanks, Bebe

Kept an eye out at the Sacramento swap today, didn't see anything. You're near Auburn? A guy had all his vintage motorcycle parts stolen there last year, so far no trace that I'm aware of. Same assumption, meth heads.

This happened to a friend of mines dad who had a bunch of vintage wheels.
It's meth heads looking for scrap money.
Just hold out some hope (if it's not too late already)
