Red wheels were cool in the '50's - doesn't that make them sorta traditional? Maybe some of the red wheel haters just aint old
enough to remember how it was??

As a 65+ year old hotrodder since the age of 14½, be advised that red wheels on hot rods have been around a lot longer than the 'rockabilly' trends you are whining about. They copied hot-rodders, not the other way around. Nothing wrong with red wheels....they're like anything else, you don't like them, don't get any. I'm sure you're just delighted with milk truck/artillery wheels which are a much more recent trend.

Yeah but, this wasn't fair, I never got to vote:D...Not to mention I have seen some of the things this crowd has voted for before......LOL. I mean really?? Sandstone steelies beating halibrands??....I am thinking this Poll was rigged!! Oh well, I never did want to be like most people anyhow, So I will keep my red wheels, maybe they will stand out in a crowd of "Sandstone Beige steelies" someday....LOL
