I'm trying to find these drawer knobs/pulls this guy used very artfully on his tail gate. I think it was a Dodge pick up. I saw it at Santa Maria a few years ago and asked then about where to find them and as I recall I was told Orchard Supply Hardware, but I haven't had any luck on their website or anyone else's website for that matter. Any help out there?[IMG]
    Thanx, db

  2. I can tell you yes, it's a Dodge. Don't know who owns it.

The bumper is a 57-60 Dodge but the inner fender wells are 57-60 D200, alot bigger than the D100's I keep pretty good track of these trucks on the internet and I have never seen one with this tailgate.

Yes, when I was looking for knobs for my grille, I was considering these. I , too, saw them at Home Depot. They were special order knobs, not kept in stock.

Tailgate is stock, it just has a piece of sheet metal with drawer handles attached to the middle over the D O D G E logo...:D

Wow, I don't even have handles that nice in my house.

I guess one could just drive through Home Depot and see what sticks versus JC Whitney, these days.:)

  18. I can now see the reveal on the tailgate that I did not notice before....yep...looks stock now.

You are obviously much better at googling than I am. I bow to your mastery of the art of googing. I have googled at least a dozen times and they never came up for me. A lot of similar ones, but not those. May I ask what you put exactly in the google search box? Thanx, BTW. I knew somebody would come through on the HAMB. db

Actually for a kustom I'm building. I don't think I'll need quite as many, fortunately. db

Yeah, I guess it's just a matter of taste. However, when you're trying to be unique, cost is somewhat secondary. Even though I have no intention of using them in the same manner on my car, I respect the fact that someone is willing to step out of the box and do something different, whether it's suits my taste or not. But that is just me. Thanx to all that have commented. That's what I like about the HAMB. Everyone has an opinion. db

If you like to build (or design) customs/kustoms then you just kinda always look out for unique but tasteful (hopefully) items that might be incorporated into the auto world somehow.
