Next Sunday. http://www.mokandragway.com/event_info/shrr.html I plan to take the day off for some drag racing. Hooley is to have the Henry J ready with the new blower engine. It will be interesting to see how it does. Long range weather forcast is good. John
Plan to be there - freshened up the bottom end and the clutchflite just came back with a new front seal. Taking Friday off to get it all together. looking forward to Sunday. ET
Sounds good to me. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was going to be there. It will be a fun day. John
I'm in brother. It's time for a little road trip. The weather is predicted to be sunny and in the 60's. We can help Kerry if he needs some extra hands. Sam
We will be at Jays in Kansas and if weather in Omaha looks sketchy for our return trip we may come that way and say hi!
Just spoke with my friend John Umlauf. He's going to bring the Umlauf and Wallace front engine rail over for a couple early season test passes.
Brown & McCord will be there running a match race with Stroud & Chambers...both blown alchohol front engine dragsters. One with Chrysler power & the other has a small block Ford. Hope we can get some good runs in cause it looks like the weather will be nice. See ya there... MB
Got a notice from track that times on poster are wrong. Track opens @ 10A.M., time trials start @ 11, then elims.
Great day. Kerry got to make a good pass. Lot of friends to visit with and great weather. I will try to post a picture of my brother towing Kerry back to the pits. John
Thanks so much to John, Sam, Rhino, Randy and most of all Travis. What a GREAT crew!!! On a run with a lot of pedaling and 1/2-2/3 throttle I ran a 9.3961. Lot's more left in her.
Almost a full pass? You are getting there!!!!! I still wanna hear that clink clink when you walk brother.
The only issue for me was the lengthy oildowns. Other than that it was all gravy, racing, shooting the bull with old friends, and making new ones.
Sorry I didn't catch this thread earlier... I had a great time and saw a lot of folks I know. I took over 500 pictures and ended up posting 420 to my website: http://www.crablogic.com/springhrr13.htm Here are a few I especially liked: CRAB
