    Hi
I bought this Ford from a Hamber and now I would like to know if any one knows anything about it. This is what I got from seller:

On the history, what I learned from another Hamber that lives here in Altadena and that had been trying to buy the car for about 20 years is that the old gentleman that owned the car(Roger), bought the car here in Pasadena on a car lot in 1961. It was already modified then, with the Carson top, that he believes to be an original Carson top.
When my buddy bought the car, it had a 1955 265 CI Chevy in it, so it was probably built between 55`- 60`

It's not really modified except for the chopped "Carson" top and the shaved trunk. There were probably a hundred '41 converts running around SoCal like that back in the day. Gonna be real hard to pinpoint ownership.

But, it's a real car! Good luck!

Looks like a Crestliner wheel, too. Pretty mild car, I think it's going to take some further digging into the car to identify what work was done if it's going to be identified. What was done appears to have been done very well, though.

Yes it's mild kustom, no body modifications other than chop. Found some red paint in the window frame and upholstery has been red. Bermuda bell under the floor. :) I grinded some paint of from the body but there is only primer under the black paint. So some one has removed all previous paint jobs.

Looks solid. I will have good use for the axles, we have made a deal with Kartsa and they are ending up into my Model A Roadster.

Knowing Kartsa's talent, I'm really looking forward seeing this one as a finished kustom!

It's an early '41 Ford the the mounts for the sun visors is the give away. The later '41 through '48 had the same sun visor bracket. The door pillar is two piece on the early '41's and one piece on the later '41's through the '48.

This sun visor holder is early '41, very rare and hard to find.

Notice the out edge has a lip to it, this is early '41, the later cars were one piece.
