    Hello guys,

I am here again to share with you some updating.

I added the other 4 valves for the air ride system as well as some of you advised me

    Hood details

    I installed a new battery

Also install the parking brake cable. Was necessary to adapt the original system (P.brake) to '76 Camaro rear end.

These days it is finishing the interior upholstery, some pics of work in progress

Maybe by the end of this week has finished the work of the interior upholsteryand I will update with more photos,
hope you like the choice of colors :).

In the meantime I made the registration and license plates now. The cost of this operation, because of our absurd laws, is $ 4,700 ....
a lot of money thrown to the wind but here is so....

See you soon for more pics

Frank, glad to see you back with updates. Truck looks great. The price to put plates on your truck is crazy, but you didn't let it stop you, great job....Jim

Is that because they tax you on the presumed value of the truck or do they tax you on what your receipts add up to? I'm just curious as to how it works there.

I wonder if it has anything to do with being a foreign vehicle? That is a shit ton of money.....

It is very difficult to read a dollar figure like that and not make a comment about political systems. But I shall restrain myself.

Frank, it looks fabulous as always.

    Hi guys, thanks to all.

The cost so high to have a registration of this machine is because I installed it in a motre V8 and since it is not the original engine its the only way is to do it in order to register the car in Germany (or Austria) where the laws are much more intelligent that here in Italy.

Therefore registrations are 2 one in Germany and one in Italy ..... unfortunately that's how it works. If I instead had left her 6-cylinder engine, I would have spent about $ 1,000 and at least 4 months to have the data sheet of the vehicle.

My brother lives in Miami FL and I realize how your laws about it are simpler and less expensive.

For us, a vintage American car is something more, if you have the economic means you can do what you want otherwise you will not do it. The thing I regret is throwing money for stupid laws and absurd.

Thanks to all for the compliments :)

Luckey, to be honest, if I had done the work now I might not have closed those windows ......

I closed them so that you can open in the future, a week will be enough work
to go back to being a 5 windows,
but now I also really like so :)

    Thanks

  15. keep up the great work.

It seems like you are wasting money, but its the only way to have what you want. so its not wasted.

also I think the three windows have better looks than the 5 the proportions just seems wrong with the corner windows being a different size than the rear window. If the rear was larger or the corners shorter they would look better.

My sister lived in Italy for a few years and when I went to visit I did not see anything like your truck there. That is going to stick out like a diamond in the rough.

  16. Is there anything in this truck that isn't chrome? The details are amazing Frank! I, like others, will avoid being "that guy" as it pertains to politics, but I offer my condolences for what you have to go through just to make this thing street legal. I respect you for driving on and making it what you want and how you want (even if that means closing up two beautiful windows!) :)

Hi! Frank,I suspect that if you compare the registration cost against to total build cost, it will just seem to be a rather expensive, but necessary accessory, like a gearbox or a body. You had to have it so, you bit the bullet.
You did not bitch about it, either! I think I would have.
Your skills and dedication are brilliant; the result is fabulous!!!

Definitely no more dump runs in that trucks life!
I will not complain when needing to lose $180 for my DMV registration either!
    $4700 ouch!
It's almost going to be too nice to drive!

That truck just keeps getting better every time you show more photos. When's the first trip around the block planned for?
