Yes sir. the glass guy came by and test fit the new rubber moldings and took finial measurements to cut the front curved glass. Sat he plans on a test fit of the windshield. The engine is getting bolted together and should be back in in a few weeks...

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, my business has been a little over whelming but as Jay said we are still moving forward. Will get some new pictures up soon, cant wait to see all the glass in the car.
This morning met with Rick of Rod & Custom Autoglass Supply to start cutting and fitting the front glass. He is going to be cutting down the old glass first to use as a template, below is a few pictures I took. He also took the door to start cutting down the vent glass and side glass.
After sanding the glass down Rick noticed the corner of the car will need to come out a little to fit the glass flush. Pushing to have the car going back together soon so we can work out any suspension or engine issues.
Good glass man there. Most look at the cavity and think: "The body is imperfect, oh well, the rubber will forgive it..." Many chopped Rancheros with broken windshields ago, Rod Powell schooled me on the right way to fit glass to chopped tops. If the car has to be 'shaped' to the glass, that's what you do. Great job here, I'm following with interest.
Those glass guys have wrecking crane balls. And I can't BELIEVE the visual transformation of this entire car by that little chop. Incredible. And you'll love the 318, had more than I can count. If you want to wake it up more, they respond very well to cam 'n carb upgrades.
Thank you guitard, we have a Comp 268 cam with a Holley carb going on it. Hopefully will have engine going in for final fit next month.
Gotcha, couldn't see that from the pics. No sense in doing all that work and having a scratched up windshield.
Took the car out to Rick so he could finsh the side and back glass in the car nice and tight. Should have some updated pictures in a few weeks. ay OT my wife and I picked up a 72 International Travelall for a nice little Sunday driver

Rick (glass guy) gave me a call Sunday letting me know the car was done, he had a few hiccups with the vent windows but after some tweaking and holding his tongue in the right direction he finished her up. I cant be more pleased, there is still the final install to do however the body guy has to do his magic before Rick glues the glass in for good. Here she is last night when we picked her up. I still have some concern with the roof line however EVERYONE tells me once the engine is in, hood is back on and the car is all in one color it will all flow just like I have pictured in my little brain I have. <a href="http://s185.photobucket.com/user/voodoowagon/media/front_zps9e3d8dd2.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
Tonight I am headed over to a buddies shop that is going to fine tune the metal and get the car in one color for us so we can start getting her back on the road.
