I got a 26 t touring out of a fallen down barn today. Had to cut it out with a chain saw.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

The old guy had the motor rebuilt in the early 80's. and did some bang up rust repair. But in all its in good shape. My plans will probably be just restore it.

What a great looking T! There are so many running changes on the 26-27 T's that it is a lot of fun to study them. I've had a few over the years but never finished one. Bob

  19. Dang Bart, you must live in a gold mine area. You come on here every few days with a new find. Save all you can before the scrappers get them.

Back in a barn in Tennessee,
I paid five bucks for my bucket T.
Took me three years of sweat and blood,
To clean off all that Tennessee mud, my Bucket T...

This area is a gold mine for old cars. I'm thinking two tone Washington blue and black fenders. And there are a ton of wire wheels out there. I'm going to have a friend who's shop does powder coat coat them black. Motor wise I might put a high compression head on it. But I might just leave it alone right now.
