thought I'd kick off a "what mods are doing this weekend" thread

Me... I'm working on the 27 coupe
    - doing a transmission pan - installing a freshened up set of headers and hopefully.... doing a couple burnouts if the weather gets better (in Seattle). Drag that car out.... come by, turn a wrench, and grab a beer.

    What are you doing?

Spent yesterday locating a short that was blowing the headlight fuse in my coupe. Turned out to be the wire powering the dash light (I had ran it thru the same hole as the line to the oil gauge and it worked its way under the fitting and got smashed against the metal). Going for a much needed cruise!

Not a damn thing, everything around me is flooded out, luckily not my house. Plus instead of regular april 65 degree days which are great for working on my car, it's 30 and frickin snowing.

Going to look for a bit for the clutch type bolts holding the fenders on my '59 Apache. Might even get the fenders off the bed. Also want to round up what's needed to set up a small electrolysis tank, and try my hand at de-rusting a model T hood I found in the desert last fall.

Don't envy you... the fuel pumps are not so bad, the hard nylon fuel lines on those Fords can be a beotch.... did one a couple of weeks back, out in the cold like you and could not get everything warm enough to assemble properly...forgot how much i hate them.... LOL

If you are doing the fuel pump,it is easier to lift the box off to one side a bit and do it that way,i had one like that a few years ago.Hardest part is getting those damn ford box bolts loose. Harvey
