Congrats to both of you. The mailperson left my mailbox open yesterday during a storm so mine will have to dry out so i can read it tonight.
I've been catching glimpses of your car here & there and I gotta say I really dig it! It's an inspiring car for sure! I can't wait for my copy of R&C to get here, they're always late to arrive for me.
I got my issue in the mail and was pissed that R & C inserted a Direct TV ad right in the middle of the spread. Is this going to be an on-going thing? Don't they already have enough ads? Does anyone else have an issue with this? Getting the July, 2013 issue in the middle of April also bugs the shit out of me. Pretty soon I'll be getting the issues six months in advance if they keep this up, unless they go out of business. I have some other pet peeves but it's almost lunch time so they will have to wait. I'll read this issue while eating so I can see how to polish the almost 20 year old paint on my Studebaker.
My issue arrived yesterday as well.... says something about the mail service that we are receiving them so consistently over such a large area. No extra ads here, just the 4 little cards for subscription renewal. Great vehicles....congrats guys.
Congrats man! I was drooling over your car last night, also Darryl's 32, both great looking builds! Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Congratulations John! When I saw the Woodward Roadster at the GNRS I was very impressed with all the fine details. I was pulling for you to win, but it's hard to compete with pro built cars. That you and your friends built a car that was in the running for the AMBR is inspiring to all us little guys. You done good!!
another good issue of R & C,...nice article on the Woodward roadster; WDO40, very nice pickup; it's perfect; and I loved the 50 Chevy Fleetline in this issue as well.
