I will be ADDING a 64 Polara to the herd! It's a poly 318 4 door ht that that was doomed for the scrap yard. It's a one owner car that has been parked for the last 15 years. I know I'm nuts...
I had a 63 in high school. 4dr Poly 318 and push button trans. Was a cool car but I was still more ambition then skill.
Watch for cowl rust at the top corners and where the cowl meets the floor. Bottom of the fenders are also a bad area. I'm trying to save a 64 wagon right now and I've got a 65 coronet waiting for it turn after that.
Time for an update on my poor old rust bucket Dodge. I have acquired a new gas tank, sending unit , gas tank mat, rubber fuel lines, filter & fuel pump so maybe just maybe I'll have it running again this week sometime then I'll go after the brakes. I have a new dual master cylinder ready to go on and after that I after I'll make my way to rebuilding the drums.
Thanks, was really lucky with finding it. All I added were the wheels, hub caps, rings, a thrush glasspack, engine paint, and the Pertronic points eliminator kit with Flame Thrower coil. I should be ordering new carpet soon and beginning the body work and prepping for paint. All the trim is in average to excellent shape, along with the glass (excellent shape as well)
