Sorry to here, its a shame there's worthless bastards in the world......Toby Keith and Willie Nelson have the solution.

Well a man come on the 6 o’clock news
Said somebody’s been shot, somebody’s been abused
    Somebody blew up a building
    Somebody stole a car
    Somebody got away
Somebody didn’t get too far yeah
    They didn’t get too far

Grandpappy told my pappy, back in my day, son
A man had to answer for the wicked that he done
Take all the rope in Texas
Find a tall oak tree, round up all of them bad boys
Hang them high in the street for all the people to see that

Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we’ll sing a victory tune
We’ll all meet back at the local saloon
We’ll raise up our glasses against evil forces
Singing whiskey for my men, beer for my horses

We got too many gangsters doing dirty deeds
We’ve got too much corruption, too much crime in the streets
It’s time the long arm of the law put a few more in the ground
Send ’em all to their maker and he’ll settle ’em down
You can bet he’ll set ’em down ’cause

For what its worth, I belong to a vintage Airstream group, and club. A few years back a Bambi was stolen, and after weeks of people all over the US watching for it, a farmer found it in the field 50 or so miles away from where it was stolen from. It seemed the thieves took it and then didn't know what to do with it....

The owner got it back dirty but overall un harmed. I hope this has the same ending...

Don, the owner, has a stellar reputation around the Dallas area. Keep your eyes open for the quick return of his sedan.

Here's another picture . The car was stolen from his house in Edgewood, Texas south of Dallas . It has a Yellow SBC , 39 top loader trans , and a 32 rear end . The rear end is bad . The car has a chrome dash which should stand out . Chrome garnish molding . The top insert was white but dyed black . New maroon interior . We are still looking for other pictures . Thank yall so much . Don and his wife Patsy are good people that would do anything for you . Thanks , Danny

Sorry anyone has to endure having their car stolen. Hope the right person catches the guy and an accident occurs. What is missing from most of these theft posts, in my opinion, is how the theft occurred. Stolen from his home. Locked garage? Driveway? The rest of us could learn something if details of the theft were provided. I will be glad to kick the stool out from under the thief.

How about a post with a list of all of the items and details on the car that a member could print out and carry with them to one of these local swap meets. Members could also reference it looking at Craig's list. This would save remembering that one detail that could lead to the thief.

Seems it's a ongoing thing in Texas. Whether it's at a show or right out of your own garage.

How about a thread on spending a 10th of a build budget on security. These thefts happen way too much and I hate to say it, but we ALL need to be more mindful of our security systems.
