    Hey guys,
Could I get a small photoshop favor?

I'd like to see what my fender skirts look like if they were about 2 inches lower.
I'd also like to see what it looks like with and without the small lip at the bottom of the skirt.

    THANK YOU!!

I just picked this Edsel Roundup up this last winter. It is the next project in line and will be getting more of my attention here very shortly! I'd like to see what you all can come up with as far as paint and everything goes. I am open to just about anything. Although, I don't want a gasser. I will be lowering it using aerostar springs and blocks. I have been tossing around leaving it all white with the red and white interior and black wheels with the poverty caps and redline tires. Any ideas you all have would be greatly appreciated!

Can someone show me a scallop or panel job or something that will allow me to repair the taillights without stripping any trim off to repaint the car?

I used fiberglass to french stock '54 Chevy taillight rims on my '53 back in 2001 or so and over the years it has shrunk and is starting to crack. I'd like to redo them but absolutely do not have the time to tear the car apart in order to repaint the whole body and I am not a good enough painter to touch up the flat black paint and get it to blend. I will never end up with the same amount of flatness.

I am not opposed to painting the roof, which is in gray primer with black scallops, so feel free to make any suggestions at all. The interior is off-white, red, and dark gray. Basically I need a scheme that will allow me to redo the taillights and have the car back on the road all in one weekend. Either that or I drive it this way another year and repaint it next summer when I have more time.

I was bored so I played a little with a random '57 Chevy. From an ugly modern street machine to a mild 50's style custom.

    Thoughts?

Nice Work! Btw I like your avatar. Ann Margaret was one of the biggest hotties in the '60s and '70s.

Here's an update for ya. Added tuck-n-roll interior, white wheel wells and removed the side view mirror. :)

If you're that bored why not design a scallop or panel paint job for my '53 to disguise a taillight redo without a full repaint? (Posted a page or two back)

Ok, I gave it a shot. It's difficult with all the chrome left on the car though.

Yeah I know but Watson managed pretty well with ALL factory trim intact. I just need to figure out how to paint around the taillights without repainting the whole car. I may just end up driving with my Visible Seams of Shame for another year and painting the whole car next spring.
