lookin good! This is the part of the project when all of the bloody knuckles and long nights of block sanding pay off.

 

I've been enjoying watching your build, as I just finished a restoration on a 59 1 ton with a friend. Really like the blue color on the interior pieces. Are you doing any blue on the exterior too?

Thanks fellas we've kicked some butt this weekend, on Friday it was a cab and frame!!!

Steve... Me and my buddy have already discussed putting some time in on the T coupe. Might get it ready for salina!!

Yea she knows, but she hasn't seen it since last sept. so it's changed a lot since then, and we're gonna try and deliver it to Dallas next Wednesday for her birthday!!

what a difference. I remember seeing the first pics you showed us and thought there was a slim chance you could return something that rough , back into a respectable looking pickup. The amount of rust you were faced with was unreal. But here you are with an AWESOME looking rebuilt pickup and by the sounds of it, you had a blast building it along the way. I really like the color contrast of the red oxide with the off white interior, it's always been a favorite of mine

 

Great job and a very good friend you have. Look forward to seeing the finished product.

 

Get the hood springs on yet?.. I put one on my 59 GMC, used a lot of washers and a flat blade screw driver..

 

Yea we put the hood springs on in about 2 minutes it was pretty easy!!

Show them the photos of how we did it!! That was a stroke of greatness. As long as you don't loose a finger!

 

Thanks! The pleats are white and silver sparkle, so is the headliner. Think it will really set the interior off.

 

Chad's gonna pin stripe the heck out of it... After polishing out the dash where he drug and arm through the wet paint!!!

LOL, Still better than the jacked up door panels I have to redo at some point.

Love the progress... sure is cool seeing a cool old truck like that come back to life. I am a big fan of red oxide primer. Subscribed!
