Well i try every year or every other year to put something in the Gopher State Timing Ass's car show. Its one of those fun personal indoor car shows thats more of a hard core hot rodder show not like the world of wheels that everyone goes too, so we see alot of good freinds and good people. Last year i entered a couple of survivor hot rods i did posts about here on the hamb and then again this year. so if you not doing nothing this weekend head down to the state fair ground colliseum and check em out, theres alot of other nice cars there too, a hand full of traditional stuff and more street rod stuff. heres links to the two cars i brought this year. The chevy we started on two weeks ago with a car that had been sitting since 1965 and we drove it into the show. the 32 fordor is just mocked up for the show and hope to be able to mechanically restore it this summer or winter. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=790369 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=452932
Both looking great - love the Moon discs on the Chev, they look perfect on that car. A couple buddies and I are (were?) planning to head to the Twin Cities tomorrow from western MN, but the way the weather forecast is looking that may not happen. If I don't make it , I hope somebody posts pix!
Sure did. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/VD8fcCVCX6I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BK5rTYxR_kc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I even had the pleasure of seeing the owner get his first ride as Titus drove the car out of the show about a block to the trailer . . . in the pouring rain. Wish I would have had a camera to get the owner's reaction and see the tires spin a bit.
