I can see what is going to happen...in a few years guys (it is ALWAYS guys asking this stuff like it really matters) will be going back & forth with the " In Death Sprint in Terror Canyon was the engine in Tony Nancy's dragster really a wedge or did they use.... you fill in the blanks.

I gotta say this is a really side splitting smile making movie.

But really, were those Ansens on the front of the Chevy?

That was fun to watch. When I was a kid in the late 60s, early 70s, I used to imagine stuff like that and smash up my model cars and red line hot wheels. Sometimes I would use firecrackers to imitate a explosion or in the case of hot wheels, I would get a hammer to dent them and smash them up. Ahh, the good times.
Now days if you use a firecracker, the Feds pick you up and throw you in Guantanamo Bay for a little Sadism.

    well... This was it!
This is most certainly a contender for "BEST PICTURE" and The Ryan(film) as organized and overseen by the Jalopy of Motion Picture Arts and Journal
I can foresee it all now... February 24, 1971 and the room is loud and on fire, aglow with the vocal cheers of applause as Pete, Ben, Dan, and Scott work their way to the stage microphone to accept this tremendous award:D
