It's actually April 14th but that's okay. I finished this a few days ago. Has LOTS of flaws and screwed up paint. AMT pheaton modified to fit Revell frame. Chrysler 331 hemi, scratchbuilt WEIRD induction, just to be different. Stacy David kit parts here and there.

Outstanding models today, as always I'm blown away by the detail and paint on such small scale cars. Here's my latest racer in 1/8 scale. It will be the Stanton house car that Ron Shuman drove in 1980. Nothing is attached; just sitting there to see how it looks.
I posted some work in progress pics of this Catalina a while back. Here's the finished car. custom dash dual quads were tossed out in favor of scratch built fuel injection. Top is chopped 2 inches
The Milwaukee NNL 21 was held last night. They had 922 entries. These are some that are HAMB approved.
Here are some 1/87 scale vehicles and figures that I just finished. The Ford truck is a factory-painted/lettered/assembled Athearn but I put on realistic wheels from Jordan, added the spare, added the boxes in the back and did some detail painting. The motorcycles, figures and statue are all from unpainted kits. I added some parts to the bikes. The statue figures are OO scale that I made a base for and painted. All are for a model railroad scene set in 1939 on the '20s & '30s Modular Model Railroad. Next up: a 1/87 '40 Ford standard sedan with H.A.M.B.-friendly mods that I'll start on tomorrow as my entry in the H.A.M.B. Plastic Model Builders group contest for '39-'40 Ford models. Had a GREAT time at the Milwaukee NNL... From the road trip with Frank and Les, to chatting with old modeling friends and meeting new ones, to checking out the more than 900 models on the tables...
