    Howdy!

    I have been a HAMB reader for a few years. Finally took the plunge in January and joined, and am just getting around to introducing myself. What can I say, I'm a procrastinator.

    Speaking of procrastinating... I should be working on getting my 52 Packard up and running, but instead I'm working on getting a new show going.

    I just discovered traditional hot rod shows a few years ago and am smitten. I had been living in trailer queen land at lawn chair shows up until then. Yawn.

    As a long-time vintage lover, I believe the things we collect, be it clothing, furnishings or cars, are best enjoyed being used, not dusted and admired from afar.

    The HAMB has been a great resource as a reader, I hope it's even better as a member.

    Thank you. Mississippi Mayhem has had quite a bit of interest from Stevens Point, so I am looking forward to getting up there to meet some folks. The KKOA show is the perfect opportunity to do so. I am looking forward to it!

    It's a Henney conversion ambulance/hearse combo. The plaque in the window says Ambulance. There are jump seats and counters in the back for ambulance mode, but then that all flips up and reveals the rollers on the floor for caskets.

    I imagine some unlucky souls got to ride in it twice. Once on the way to the hospital and again leaving it.

    The weather up here is not sunny, nor 60. We're sitting at about 32° and grey, grey, grey. Looks like more snow is coming. I'd rather be in Kansas.
