You water-jetted the axle. I should have known. LOL.
The bracing, dash and axle look great.
    Good job!
Btw what are the things the guy made on his lunch hour?
Looking at it with smart phone, I can't tell exactly.

    Thanks fellas :)

I found limeworks good lookin 40 Ford column in my brothers shelf so I stoled it. It is a little thinner then the one that I already has and also like 3" longer and that suits me perfect.
Had to change the column-drop hole so I did it and also change the shape of it to get a better flow in it .
Welded a lot to get material to grind.

    Thanks Outback :)

My mate Lars helping me out making new wood for the doorposts as the original ones has a million holes and also are cut in two after a "long time ago roofchop" .
The shape is done and next week he will go lose with the mill.

Hello from California. I spent a good bit of time yesterday reading through your thread. To say that I am impressed would be an understatement. Your skill set and attention to detail is remarkable. I find myself inspired to learn more about metal work. I am also inspired to find myself a waterjet, but that part probably isn't going to happen. Keep up the good work. I look forward to following your progress.

Thanks for sharing the link to Draftsight. I am going to check that out. I have no CAD experience but I think it would be valuable to learn.

  21. Your column drop is a piece of ARTWERK!
    Beautiful design & detail.

Thanks a lot Mate, spend some time to learn the cad . It is both a easy workway and even a lot of fun :)

Im glad you like it, I think it's a lot better then version 1.
It feels like I have change or re-done mostly everyting soon :)

Today we have our first nice spring-day .

After changing the dash I started thinking that it would be good to get the floor clean without shifter and e-brake as the space is very limited after adding the mid dash console.
I took the original brake handle from my '39 coupe and made a support/mounting bracket to it.

Put it on the passenger side as it fully booked on the driver side. Dont matter as it is very reachable .

Made a new shifter rod located between the steering wheel and the console and it will be cable operated.
