Copper paint?

heres the vht burnt copper, after I seen don's rod I had to do something similar.

 

78- up malibu, regals and el camino's had copper paint from the factory.

 

What, and you didn't think to take a picture of yourself in a bikini like Don did?

 

I was going to but it was only in the 50's that day. didn't want the nips to show

 

76 Ford pickup Copper Metallic is nice. I bought one new in 76 that color.

stacey david had a really nice custom mix called copperhead that was variant of a factory ford color.

thanks for starting this thread and also to those who contributed. i want to go with a copper on my T build. you don't know how hard it is for me to decide when it comes to picking colors. i'm not totally color blind but i have what is called a color deficiency. i could never pick out the numbers in all the different colored dots they use to test for color blindness. i knew better than to wear plaid with stripes but i had to ask someone if this shirt went with these pants way back in my school days.
i want the chassis and all the suspension to be a satin black and the body, headlight buckets and grill shell to be a copper. not too orangy, more of a tan or brownish shade of copper. keep the samples coming.

 

Google "Nissan 350z copper" and look at the images. I saw one today and thought of this thread.

House of Kolor gold mine pearl is close to a new penny. Maybe a little brighter. We just finished the paint on this one a couple months ago. It is definitely bright in the sun.
