There's one in Tulsa Ok. The Admiral Twin, just re-opened after a fire. Went this past Saturday night with the wife an boys. It's about 45 minutes from Muskogee but well worth the trip. We put lawn chairs and bean bags in the back of the truck.
We have one close to us in Valpo Indiana. Haven't been there in a while Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
The Skyview Theatre in Belleville, Illinois - few minutes drive east of St. Louis. http://www.skyview-drive-in.com/index.asp
As I understand the story the Panther drive in theater in Lufkin, TX was the largest ever with a capacity for 3,500 cars. I remember seeing the huge black panther painted on the backside of the screen when visiting relatives in Lufkin. I doubt if it is still in operation though.
There is one in Barstow Calif. Stopped there on way home from Viva just cuz. The back seat of a 55 Chevy not near as big as they used to be
Here in Southern Ontario there are a few I can think of and have been to, and had some fun at (if you know what that means). Right up the escarpment from my house is the Starlite Drive in on Green Mountain Road in Stoney Creek. http://www.starlitehamilton.com Highway 5 Drive in Oakville http://www.5drivein.com Can View Drive in Thorold http://www.canviewdrivein.com/canviewhome.html
I used to have a set of lights from the Starlight in Hamilton over the boardroom table in my office. The Starlight Six in Atlanta is a great old drive-in. Lotsa good time there.
Got one here in Fort Collins, Colorado. http://www.holidaytwindrivein.com/ Just a little 2 screen thats been open as long as I can remember. Still seems to be going strong too...
Ours was on Highway 29 North, at the foot of Wahoo Hill. Now its a high dolla subdivision full of the chillun who were most likely conceived there.
