54 - 57 Dodge 1/2 ton trucks

Those are the standard ones,the custom regal had headlight rings that had almost a formed visor at the top edge,almost like a '55 buick

 

Correct, Not So Fast. Custom Regal's ring are different from the ''poor man's'' models.
It does have kind of visor on the top.

although a couple of years younger, I have a 53 Dodge truck, chopped, sitting on a 90 Dakota frame, built 68 Dodge 318 with a 904 trans. Just got the motor running a couple of weeks ago.

I have a custom grille out of a 54-56 Dodge truck, but really need another upper grille bar. Anyone got a spare??????

 

Ive got a full set left over from my build. Upper and lower are both in great shape

Frenching the headlights will definitely get rid of the bulging eyes look of these old trucks; as was the reason I used lights and turn-lights from a Chrysler Cordoba; when II built the truck the second time I used 4 inch amber LEDs for park/turn lights in the old Cordoba recessed rings

 

Going through my 54' at the moment. Got a ways to go but this is how she looks now
