1960 f100 fordomatic (kick down rod) or (T.V. rod)

My truck is missing this rod and I can seem to find one anymore and I have been told that the 60 is different then the 57-59, I cant believe thats true. Also are the car kick downs the same? Or totally different?

 

No 57-60 f100 guys?

I found a kick down but I have no idea if its correct

 

Get a shop manual. It should at least have a drawing.

P.S. I've a Falcon with a 2 speed. That rod is critical to proper function and trans life.

 

I have been trying to find a master shop manual for 57-60 but no luck.

 

The kickdowns are different if youve got a 6 cyl or a v8
