Sure would like to see this with wide whites & chrome reverse steelies.Or maybe plain Jane steelies in red with wide whites?.....same height. Just need something to break up all the black.

Please don't do this...the car is perfect the way it is.

Three versions: Lowered, shaved with blackwalls, whitewalls, then chopped.
Looking for a suitable photo of steelies with spider caps to use, I found a nice one with whitewalls on a '64 Riviera. I think this would make a great end-of-era custom. So, just for fun, I chopped it a little. If you go the custom route, I could see it in a solid metallic or pearl.

What's up, guys. You fellas have come through for me in the past, especially James D with the custom grill for my wagon. Now I am asking for help again. I just put new rims and tires on the 59, and I now have no idea what colors to paint it. I'd like to see the body in maybe the same shade as the rims, with a white or cream top, and maybe some white or cream scallops. Nothing to crazy though. I'd also like to see it lowered, as that is a must for this car.

    Thanks for the help!

    great looking Pontiac...love it... 1952?

  14. Just a quick idea - a simple scallop in a "woody" style. I´d go for Lancer caps too, but no time now.

As always, very impressive, James! If you do get more time, I'd love to see some more of your ideas for my wagon. Thanks!

I think it would look better with the rear wheel well open and no white walls

Yes! Very British-looking this way. Love knock-offs and wire wheels.

Would someone please chop this for me? The bottom of the tape line is 5" below the top of the window frame. I'm thinking 5" but now that I got my bed and tires mounted I'd like to visualize it a bit before I decide. Whichever picture is easiest.

    Thanks!

    Aaron

    Damn! Thank you, Btrsweet!

Anyone think the yellow wheels might look good with a soft mint green satin finish with scallops?

I appreciate the help, fellas. I have never been this confused as to what colors I should paint a car.
