    Thanks a bunch!!

Been waiting for the tubular arm mustang ii hub-to-hub kit to get back in stock, and the email came this morning saying it was in. Shipping was going to be $150! A quick search and I found this thread. This saved me big time. THANKS!

Your not wrong there Kelly. I can say that most of what I ever got from Speedy Bill was better than Drake. At least I know what to expect from Bill.

I just got 1000K in stuff to start my 32 Roadster build. However, I am a shopper and found a 4 link rear triangulated kit and New Vega box with mount and arm on Ebay for less that Bill. I got my dropped tube axle with brakes from RJays and save a good bit of money.

I will buy some things from them and know better about others.

I can honestly say I buy from Speedway, I have never had a bad experience. Their customer service is nothing short of great. The Tech dept has been right on so far every time...

Now, I hope I havent jinxed myself as my brakes will be here tomorrow...

I read people slammin them, but always figured it was guys who work for the competition.

    My 900 post !

  11. If you want to know what kind of stand up company Speedway is just ask anyone that has called their tech lines....Great information and its free...almost unheard of today and without a purchase first!!

Because they had what he wanted at a price he liked.

I like Speedway. Hell, the tech support helped me set up my "I" beam axle on my T. Saved me a lot of guessing and frustration.

There's a lot of closet Speedway shoppers. Just like Walmart. Everybody talks shit, but that parking lot sure is full.:D

I wonder if the free shipping will include return shipping on the Chinese crap that doesn't fit right or that's manufactured out of spec.

Customer service has been good, but every three orders I place with them something is defective and has to go back.

Plus their regular shipping charges are outrageous!

Bad experience and still using them. They don't set the shipping rate, the shipping company does.

  19. Wow some of the cheapest shipping in the country and still complaining..I wonder how they became the largest Rod parts supplier in the country ..It must be all their return customers are idiots!! Or are the 1%ers that complain just superior builders?? So do you just sell your cars for 20-30% more because want to pay more for your parts ..I can tell you I buy a huge amount of parts from Speedway because I am a Speedway ( Mr Roadster)dealer and I can honestly say we have had great feedback from our customers...Wow this is getting old even with free shipping some guys just gotta bitch...Ever notice you never see pro builder complaining.....

Thank's kb! Took the opportunity to buy a new vintage style Offy three deuce intake. As far as the guys who buy the cheap ass Chinese crap, it really doesn't matter who you buy it from, it's still gonna be cheap ass Chinese crap.

Anyone know how often they do this? I'd like to wait a while for something but...

  22. Thanks for the code, saved $35. ...stuff I needed and had planned to buy from them anyway, but was moving too slow. I probably had the code already in an email, but forgot about it.

They were giving out codes @ VLV. These are good until 4/14/13 on $100 order.

Really? Cheapest? Ever heard of Summit or Jegs? How about Amazon?

  25. Summit and Jegs dont do much in hot rod parts..........Next time you need a flathead intake or windshield frame for a 32 take a look....apples and oranges.....We ship alot and it is expensive and the rates just keep going up.. If you think speedway makes money on shipping just call UPS or Usps and check out what shipping a 5 lb package costs!
