Yeah Guys, Quick question. I notice in most aplications, it calls for about 36 inches between shock mounts. Is this a hard number? My 48 F1 frame is on 29 inches inside to inside. Is it necessary for me to mount the shocks on the outside of the frame rails. Any input would be helpful...Thanks, Scot

No its not my MG coilovers are 24" apart, although my entire car is narrower. A sway bar (anti roll) would also be of benefit and help contrl body roll.

  3. Just mount them as far apart as practical. With the narrower chassis, you just can not support the weight out as far as you'd like.

This came to memory talking about shocks.
Also as far apart as possible would be best.
