I'm sure this is the same car from post #143 a few years earlier in its life.

This is one that was popular in the late 1970's/early 1980's - Steve Pennington's delivery. I loved that truck - even built it in miniature as a radio-controlled model when I was a teenager.

Here are a couple of T touring cars that I saved photos of too:

if I remember correctly, this car spent some time here locally in Phoenix in the late seventies. I always dug this one the most of this combination.

And you'd consider that Street rod territory how?

You should know me by now Chip, sarcasm is second nature to me.:D That car has some ingredients that are close to my heart and SCREAM sixties hot rod, like a chromed drop-out pumpkin chevy rear hung from a transverse leaf for instance.

Heres a blow-up from the R&C cover shot, different wheels, but I'm sure this is the same car.

Yup! Early Times club shot. They were escorted out of the area by cops moments after the picture was shot according to stories I've been told. I do like that color combination on that car.

    It needs the Visor Frame

I love this view on Model T's. It makes the Big Windows & little Hood look exaggerated

Yup. I made the comment on another thread that that photo probably contains the highest number of Hot Rod and R&C feature cars that have ever appeared together in a single photo. It would easier to count the cars that didnt get ink...

Sadly, way too typical these days...I'm all for finding virginal tin and having a hot rodder's way with it, but with an eye towards taste or style.

Damnnnnnn......there are some cars in this thread that make me really happy!

Dude, sad thing on that tudor, not sure you noticed but they had the top taped out for a 6" chop... Someone has to save that thing!

  16. Or is it shadows from the roof bows?

  17. You mean this one? If so, I can't figure out what you're talking about. hotrodfil is right, that is shadows from the roof bows... unless they marked the fender for the taillight too:rolleyes:

I had a full fender "Tall T" sedan for 18 years and it was a fun car. I still have two original tail lights that are chromed and one front window frame.
If, anyone interested in these items PM me.

Not just a cherry tudor body, a whole car! Probably could have been a runer without oo much dickin' around! Like I said, I have the number on my desk right in front of me. If anybody wants a completely rust free '26 or '27 tudor, P.M. me and I'll put you in touch.

I saw the tape. Ironically, it may have done the trick to get it sold, I hope. Someone may have thought after seeing the "cut lines", "God as my witness, it's my duty to buy this and save one from the X-TREEM crowd".

As that Tudor at the swapmeet was beeing trailered out at the end of the day, my wife Mary pointed to it and said "If you had the money, that would already be in our backyard, wouldn't it?" She's right, if I'd had the dough, it would be sittin' at my house next to that silly, gold heap.

She said that in front of me! I should have said, "Not if I could aford it... It would be Judy's problem, then!"

  29. I would venture to say that this sedan has more miles on it than just about any car on the HAMB. My very old pal from Amarilllo, Zeke Henderson, who owned Classical Metalforming. He was the only guy I new that could fab new sheet metal from scratch, back before there was such a thing as a patch panel. A true hot rodder from back in the day...........still going strong today.
