I love road trip posts. Makes me feel like i'm there too.

 

Amen to that and nothing says it's really spring like the Annual Acme road trip to Roundup does.

Keep the photos coming and get an Acme truck next to a field of bluebonnets photo when you get to the hill country.

 

Now I'm definately in a roadtrip frame of mind. Leaving Wed night for TX. Looking forward to meeting you two and picking up some swag for my spring lineup!.

Its sunday night. Tried to post photos a couple of times today but no phone service each time. We stopped in Holbrook Arizona for the night and tomorrow we will get off I-40 and start going east on smaller roads as we Head east to Texas.

This morning after leaving vegas we Took a small detour to see the Colorado river.







We saw these guys blasting by on hwy. 93 Looks like they were heading home to Texas judging by their plates.

We stopped at a roadside flea market and saw a bunch of, well, a bunch of junk. I did pick up a cool old rear view. Mirror which I'll photograph tomorrow This place was full of some strange people vending. Can you say twilight zone?

Good morning. I must be excited about today because I woke up every hour last night and thought it had to be time to get up.

We stopped in seligman Az. Yesterday and took a few shots. All of the souviner shops were open selling Route 66 crap that was made in china. Saw this old tow rig and thought it, like all the other old cars in town, was just for show but next thing I knew it was driving up and down main st.

Check out this rear view mirror I bought at the flea market yesterday. It says "Franklin" on the back and it appears to be nickel. Anyone recognize it?
